My goldendoodle puppy Winston was in dire need of some behavior modification and training, especially with a much older dog at home already. Katie Lopez-Ortez @Maximum K9 worked with Winston for 4 weeks this summer and WOW! Winston sits, goes “down”, comes when called, and no longer jumps on people when they visit. Katie has a special relationship with Winston; she really understands him, and she knows what works with him and what doesn’t. The front desk is always accessible and professional and the facility is clean and well maintained. If I could give 6 stars I would! Highly highly recommend !
We could not have asked for a better trainer for Gunner than Kayla! She was very knowledgeable, compassionate and so good with him. Our expectations were very high and Kayla far exceeded them!! Over a year ago, we originally went to Maximum Canine for an evaluation for resource guarding and basic obedience. We met with Joe, who was clearly knowledgeable. We were recommended to work with Katie, and we couldn't be happier with the decision! Katie gave Zoey the attention any pet parent would give their own. She listened to our concerns, then addressed those concerns 2 fold: training and tools/in-home resources to support the training.
The trainers were amazing, especially Alexis. Our 5-year-old dog, Lion, had no training prior to and was hard to control. After training, he is a new dog who listens and is much calmer. All the training showed lots of love and caring. We highly recommend Maximum Canine.
